Welcome to the homepage of the computer labs (CIP-Pools) of the Department of Computer Science at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. You can find most of our computer labs in the blue Computer-Science-Building located in Martensstrasse 3, 91058 Erlangen.

CIP Pool registration online
Remote registration and password reset via IdM login is possible for students at https://account.cip.cs.fau.de/.
Members of Staff have to undergo a manual registration procedure.

Maintenance work 2024-10-16
Due to maintenance work, there will be outages of ALL CIP-clients (except cipterm0) on 2024-10-16 starting 18:00.

More HDMI cables
From now on each monitor from the open cip rooms has an HDMI cable connected
to it. You can use it for your Dual-Monitor-Setup.
Have fun with it!

New Xpra-Version
The latest Xpra version (6.1.1) is now installed on the Cip computers. Connecting from computers with older Xpra versions may no longer work.
